We now know the new professional destination of Thierry Ngogang. The Cameroonian journalist who left Spectrum television (Stv), a network in Douala, joined the Pan-African television, Africa 24. This is the new information which appears on his new facebook profile «Thiers Ngogang».

We also know that he will serve as chief information officer and regional director of Africa 24 for Central Africa. It will have jurisdiction over the Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo Brazzaville, the Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Chad and Cameroon.

Recently, Thierry Ngogang was pronounced to be everywhere (Cameroonian TV DDS, American CNN among others) in the perspective of his new occupation. He deleted his facebook accounts that had contributed to making him famous.

Thierry Ngogang resigned from STV on April 24, 2015 where he had spent 11 years. At the time where the former journalist of the daily newspaper Mutations left the television belonging to the businessman Ebako Mukete, he was Chief Editor and Director of information. He explained his resignation is a result of lack of motivation and the desire to "give way to younger and more dynamic generations because I think that no one should consider themselves indispensable...".

"I spent 11 years at STV and it must be said that, in recent years, I had trouble getting up in the morning to go to work. I used to just submit two shows per week without no real motivation. In this case, when you are honest, you must be able to draw the consequences.

The day after my last show «Entretien», I therefore decided to write to the Director general of STV Friday, April 24 at 8: 00 to announce my resignation on the grounds that I have just mentioned. In my opinion, it was time to give the place to younger and more dynamic generations because I think that no one should consider themselves as indispensable...," he confided in Cameroon - info.NET.

Sources close to the General management of the channel indicated that Stv leaders bitterly appreciated the resignation of Thierry Ngogang. "Management wanted Thierry, despite his resignation, to continue with his two shows that were particularly followed by many fans of the channel. But Thierry Ngogang had not accepted the offer," informs an internal source at Stv.

Thierry Ngogang, who was no longer motivated with television would not go back on his decision.

To quickly fill the void left by the former editor-in-Chief, Thierry Ngogang was replaced at his post by Elvis Boh who was the Chief of office in Yaoundé.
