In Cameroon, the capital of the Far North region, Maroua, is still reeling from the double suicide attack that left at least 13 dead and 32 wounded yesterday.
In a statement, the Cameroonian President, Paul Biya, condemned the acts as “despicable and cowardly attacks against innocent people.”
He urged people to be "vigilant" and should have a "close collaboration” with the security forces.
According to authorities, the double attack on Maroua was the work of two female suicide bombers.
