In trouble a few months ago, the lawless men seem to have taken the bull by the horns. For nearly two weeks, they assail, kill and kidnap people of the Far North, Cameroon border region with Nigeria, the country of origin of the insurgents.

On Tuesday, October 13, 2015, suspected members of Boko Haram attacked the village of Labado; the next day Wednesday, October 14, they landed in the city of Kerawa killing two people; Thursday, October 15, the attackers landed in the village of Gouzoudou and killed at least three people; Saturday, October 17, Djinebo Robert, a captain of the Cameroon army was killed in a clash with the enemies of the Republic; Tuesday, October 20, two terrorists were killed by Rapid Intervention Battalion patrol of the Cameroonian army; Wednesday, October 21, Cameroon is again attacked and seven soldiers were seriously injured in the town of Achigachia; on the night of that same Wednesday at least fifteen civilians were murdered after a raid by suspected members of Boko Haram in the village of Doulo, located about five kilometers from Mora, capital town of Mayo Sava Department where there is based the Multinational Force fighting against Boko Haram; Yesterday, Thursday, October 22, seven Cameroonians were killed after a fresh offensive by the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram.

Since Friday, October 23, 2015, our colleague Guibai Gatama learned that Kerawa, a town in the district of Kolofata, was taken by the fighters of Boko Haram who have implanted their flag there. "Significant reinforcements by the Cameroonian army converge at Kerawa with the backing of the people," says our famous colleague.

This means that the war between Boko Haram and Cameroon two years ago is far from over even with the support of US troops in the area.
