Superior Council of Magistracy opened today at Palais de l' Unite

The Superior Council of Magistracy opened today at the Palais de l' Unite after the preceding Supreme Judicial Council meeting which took place on 18 April 2012 at Unity Palace.

The ruling of the Judicial Council has led to numerous expectations, including appointment records and assignments of judges in courts of the country and the Ministry of Justice (itself with a new organization since September 2012) including promotion of ranks of some prosecutors.

On Thursday, December 18 there were other areas focused on the integration of new promotions, examination of the promotion list, changing grades, appointments and assignments of judges.

As anticipated already, there was the appointment of members of the Constitutional Council. This aspect led to speculation in the gathering of the capital for many years, and the names of several favorites circulated.
