The latter is charged with "defamation and insult" following his comments on the alleged involvement of the singer in the death of Gaëlle Tatiana Meye Medjo. Stanley Enow filed on July 6, a complaint against Serge Aimé Bikoï.

"Mr. Ebai Enow Stanley, a musician best known as Stanley Enow, led by Djomga Christian Dedieu, lawyer of the Cameroon Bar, chartered patent attorney for AIPO, AIPO authorized representative, lecturer at Cameroon universities, is hereby formally bringing charges against Mr. Serge Aimé Bikoï, for defamation and insults," can be read on this complaint to the public prosecutor at the Court of First Instance (Tcf) of Yaounde, the administrative center.

Mutations managed to obtain a copy of the suit which according to his lawyer, the singer has decided to institute legal action following the remarks made by Bikoï about the involvement of his client in the death of the student Tatiana Gaëlle Meye Medjo, who was found dead in the night of 22 June in the district of Jouvence (Yaoundé) and the case being heard by the judicial authorities.

The complaint includes the post of the accused on his Facebook page on June 25, 2015, "at 10:02 am," wrote the complainant, who was ready to produce evidence in his complaints.

Excerpts:

"Five days after the assassination of a young student at the district of Jouvence, Tigre La Dynastie and Stanley Enow have been arrested. The producer of the hit song 'Hein Pere' and his friend are accused in connection with the case of the murder of Nicky."

In this article relayed by other media, including on the Internet, the writer, who signed "freelance journalist" says that the two rappers have created on social networks, the Golden Group WhatsApp. "A virtual group" where they "spend the bulk of their time to flirt and tease young girls who fall under their spell."

Citing "credible sources", he writes that the deceased might be "a victim" of this group. Accusations which were rejected entirely by Stanley Enow.

At a press conference on June 30 in Douala, the rapper denied any involvement in the murder. In the same vein, he also denied belonging to this group with Tigre La Dynastie, with whom, he says, that he maintains a professional relationships.

For Djomga, Stanley Enow's lawyer, Bikoï "is lost in conjectures, saying things he can not prove." This "apparently with the intention of defaming the artist Stanley Enow, tarnish his image with 'avowed intention to undermine his status as ambassador for young people and thus damaging his prodigious career." That is why, he says, the artist has decided to press charges against the journalist and others so that "the respondents are questioned, heard and if necessary, brought before the competent courts."

Reached by telephone yesterday, Bikoï said he had received no copy of the complaint. "I have published at least four articles on this issue. But I realized that they (the complainant and his lawyer, Editor's note) have paid attention to the first paper, by making tabula rasa of the other three where, truly, I have not criminalized the concerned. On these papers, I related my initial position to know that after cross-checking facts, he (Stanley Enow, Editor's note) has not actually participated in the meeting in Nsimeyong," argues Serge Aimé Bikoï.

The latter is willing to go "to defend his positon" if summoned by the state.
