On the sidelines of the Cécifoot African Nations Championship, the Minister of Social Affairs (Minas), Pauline Irene Nguene, on Tuesday visited the social affairs services in Douala: regional and departmental delegations and the Homes.
The Minas then held a working meeting with various officials and spelled out the ills of its structures in the region and in Douala: dilapidated buildings, lack of rolling stock, non-budgeting of certain services, the phenomenon of street children or those in conflict with society etc.
For Minas, who listened carefully to the concerns of the regional delegate, it is difficult to imagine that the agents work in such difficult conditions. The serious problems will be treated with priority, she assured.
