Socacim continues to recruit artists

Lawyers for the SOCACIM seized the administrative judge on Tuesday morning for attacking the legitimacy of the decree signed by the Prime Minister on 22 May. Before going to the offices of the Supreme Court, the robed men stopped at the Star Building to file an administrative appeal to the Prime Minister.

On a visit to Tsinga district, in the building of Radio artists promoted by Romeo Dika, it is clear that the offices of SOCACIM was teeming with a particular activity early Tuesday afternoon.

In what passes for a waiting room and office, discussions on policy issues and laxity of the plan were well underway. Of the five people who were working there, two are directors and two artists registered in the records of the new copyright society for the benefit of musicians.

When questioned, one of them believed that only SOCACIM is able to defend the rights of artists.
