Senate move to ARMP headquarters in Yaoundé

The Cameroonian Senate has finally moved to the headquarters of the Public Contracts Regulatory Agency (ARMP) at Dragage in Yaoundé.

They moved to their new premises on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 as a result of construction works at some part of the Palais des Congrès.

The Secretariat of the Senate occupy the eighth and ninth floors of the ARMP building and other services will follow progressively. By the next parliamentary session scheduled for November, other services of the upper house will be at Dagage.

Whereas some observers stated that the Senate were expelled for non-payment of certain expenses, officials from the Palais des Congrès defended themselves by saying that the Palais des Congrès is under construction.
