Secretary of State for Health tours Far North Region

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Health for the fight against epidemics and pandemics paid a working visit to the Far North region on Thursday.

After laying the foundation stone of the Regional Medical Imaging Centre at Regional Hospital in Maroua, Alim Garga Hayatou, visited health facilities in the Mayo-Sava department.

In Mora, he held a working session with the clinic managers in areas affected by the atrocities of Boko Haram. Before completing his tour of the Far North, the Secretary of State for Health inaugurated a maternity ward at the Minawao refugee Camp in the department of Mayo-Tsanaga.
