Samuel Eto’o Fils to launch a sports television

Cameroon will soon have its first sports television thanks to Samuel Eto’o Fils.

Sources close to the former captain of the Indomitable Lions disclosed that equipment to be used to mount this unit has already arrived at the Douala port. It was also revealed that the sports channel will transmit from Douala and it will be headed by a certain Yolande Bodiong.

She is the Public Relations Officer of an agency which specializes in audiovisual production, the communications consultancy and public relations in Maraboo. Bodiong was also the Director of communication of the national airline, Camair-co.

The general public was introduced to Yolande Bodiong in 2013 during a live broadcast produced on the eve of a qualifying match at the 2014 World Cup and which had Samuel Eto’o Fils as guest.

This is not the first time that the top scorer in the history of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon is involved in a sports project in relation to the media.

However, one may wonder why Martin Camus Mimb, the promoter of Radio sport info (Rsi), is not associated with the TV project. Martin Camus Mimb has never concealed the 'Pichichi's contribution to his project.

“It is not a shame to say Samuel Eto’o Fils has helped me. He is a brother", he said. In this regard, our informants evoke a "blurring" between the footballer and journalist.
