The action of Société Africaine Forestière et Agricole du Cameroun (Safacam) has been facing difficulties for nearly two months.
Willy Delort Heubo, Director of markets at Financial Capital, made this analysis on the basis of this decline and the prospects for the subsidiary of Bolloré for Jeune Afrique.
On September 23, Safacam was trading at 50 000 FCFA (about 76.2 Euros) at the Douala Stock Exchange (DSE), the same level as at the start of the year, against virtually 53 000 FCFA at the beginning of August.
This decrease of 6% denotes an underperformance as compared to the average of the market over the period. The decline was also observed in the trade volume, reflecting a relative lack of interest for the title.
