The French society of reagents and medical instruments (SFRI) has just been engaged in the construction of a production unit specialized in haematology and biochemistry in Cameroon, APA learnt on Saturday from the Ministry of scientific research and Innovation. It should be completed by December.
This announcement comes in the aftermath of the visit of Gilles Mougin, the Director General of the company which is based in Bordeaux.
Associated with the Institute of medical research and studies of medicinal plants (IMPM), the SFRI activity should bring autonomy to Cameroon in the sector and allow the supply of the sub-region.
Specialized in Biochemistry and Heamatology since 1977, the company is already present in Cameroon for 7 years where it has already supported the construction of a plant for reagents and provided training to its personnel.
