Remember Marc-Vivien Foe: Prayers for the finalization of the complex

Twelve years after his tragic death on a football field, those close to Marc-Vivien Foe have difficulties recovering from the painful event on June 26, 2003.

In this commemorative day, the deceased's family organized a religious event in the Parish of Sainte-Thérèse de l’enfant Jésus de l'Omnisport, near the family home.

The direction of prayers by religious personalities was to focus mainly on the eternal repose of the soul of Marc-Vivien Foe and other family members who are dead, and also for the special help of the Lord in the finalization of the projects left by the former Indomitable Lion.

Among other things, the Foe complex in Nkomo which is in need of completion. Some work intended primarily to clean the premises were done during this commemorative week.

Besides this church service, the Foe Foundation organized since June 20, sporting and cultural activities to revive the memory of the former player of Manchester City including a football tournament, a sport walk and cycling race between Yaoundé and Mbalmayo.
