Acts of terrorism are being planned all over the country after the double attack on Maroua, the capital region of the far North, which houses the operations command center in the fight against Boko Haram, a safe source told Koaci.

According to the initial information provided by security sources in Maroua, in the fight against Boko Haram, "Boko Haram terrorists have planned acts of terrorism throughout our territory. Security measures will be strengthened on the instruction of the hierarchy,” said our source.

Several Cameroonians have admitted receiving SMS On their cell phones, mentioning such acts of terrorism which read: "terrorist acts are planned throughout the national territory. Thanks for remaining vigilant in crowded places: places of worship, markets, railway stations, airports and stadiums. Please contact the police in case of suspicion. Remain vigilant."

A toll-free number has been in service for whistleblowers. The gendarmerie and the police also have toll-free phone numbers.

On the Maroua double attack,which comes ten days after Fotokol that left 13 dead and 7 wounded, the head of the Cameroonian state indicated that the Maroua attack caused 13 dead and 32 wounded, including cases of amputation and open fractures. Doctors in the region are all treating the wounded, Koaci learnt.

The two acts of terrorism have not yet been claimed but all fingers are pointing at Boko Haram, with regard to the mode of operation: two veiled women - including a 10-year-old girl - waited to get to the midst of several people before triggering the bombs.
