Reception capacity of the Conference Hall reinforced

Four exhibition halls, 1500 chairs, 119 tables for ceremonies, 500 armchairs, 50 light polls, air-condition equipment and attachments for stands of exhibitions were part of the equipment retroceded in the Conference Hall by Foundation Inter-progress structures, organizer of Promote.

It was in the course of a ceremony chaired by Ama Tutu Muna, Minister of Arts and Culture, representative of the Prime minister, head of government, in the presence of several other members of government

Other personalities present included, the two actors of the meeting: Christophe Mien Zok and Madam Ambadiang, Managing Director of the Conference Hall and representative of the president of Foundation Inter-Progress respectively.

The equipment received will serve in promoting the national culture of Cameroon, extending the capacity of reception and ameliorating the quality of services. Christophe Mien Zok declared, with this effect, that across this operation, “the Conference Hall augments and reinforces its capacities to allow it meet up with its different missions.”

This equipment financed at 2.5 billion FCFA for the organization of Promote 2014 becomes the property of the state of Cameroon.

This retrocession ceremony was held some weeks after the opening of the construction site of rehabilitation of the Conference Hall which was financed by the Chinese government across a donation without counterbalance. It included the execution of the plan contract among which the substantial investments and discounted consequences will act as catalyst and as growth accelerator.
