Rains invade inauguration of Dangote plant

Just as the picture depicts, the heavy rainfall that fell in Douala yesterday soaked the entire venue of the inauguration of the Dangote Cement Factory.

Guests had to rest their feet on the edges of their seats to avoid the water that occupied the entire marquee for the occasion.

The water filled the space reserved for the opening ceremony of the cement plant in Douala by Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote. This was the consequence of the heavy rain that fell on the city of Douala yesterday. There were some damages caused by the rain. Sound equipment cables were affected by the rain.

When the rain intensified, many guests had no choice but to wade in the water during the plant tour. This event has generated many remarks. Some wondered the Sawa leaders, who are not on good terms with Aliko Dangote, "sent" rain to "spoil" his ceremony.
