Prisoner without a crime: Former Minister Marafa publishes book on his stewardship

Former Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization Marafa Hamidou Yaya who is currently being held at a special location inside the building hosting the Secretary of State in charge of Defense has today in Yaoundé released a book.

The publication title “Le Choix de L’action” or the Choice of Action with a sub title “My Ten Years as Minister of Territorial Administration” provides a frank, candid and thoughtful key to understanding his modest contribution to a nation that is crumbling.

Marafa Hamidou Yaya previously seen as a possible successor to President Biya partitioned his book into 4 sections bearing some of the letters he released immediately after his arrest.

Marafa tells his own story including his relationship with the Cameroonian dictator President Biya. The 409 pages book is to be sold for 15,000frs cfa.
