President Biya receives French General

The Head of State H.E. Paul Biya has granted audience to the Chief of Staff of the French Army, General Pierre de Villiers.

During the audience this Wednesday, January 6, 2015, at the Unity Palace, General Pierre de Villiers reiterated the French Government’s support to Cameroon in the fight against terrorism.

The French Army boss mentioned that many more Cameroonian soldiers will be trained in specialised techniques and intelligence sharing.

General Pierre de Villiers who is on a working visit to Cameroon was accompanied by the Commander of French troops in Gabon, Brigadier General Vincent Guionie and the French Ambassador to Cameroon, Christine Robichon.
