Petrol tank explodes at Bocom

The explosion of a tank containing lubricants, due to a technical failure, recently resulted in a fire outbreak at the Bocom international oil refining factory in Bonaberi.

According to a staff at the enterprise present at the time of the explosion, some employees noticed that smoke from the refining machine was darker than usual and not long from then, the fire broke out.

Fortunately, the flames were quickly controlled by the fire brigade. The fire however left casualties: three wounded, who were taken to a hospital. Properties whose value was not disclosed were also damaged.
