Paul BiyaPaul Biya

Suicide bombers blew themselves up killing a dozen people in Kangaleri, a town located about 15 kilometres from the town of Mora, capital of the Department of Mayo-Sava.

The prefect of the département visited the location of the tragedy after alerting his superiors...

Informed 8 hours after the incident, Paul Biya has already reacted. "It is with this bad news that the boss has been awakened. He was updated on what happened in the North. He was so shocked and ordered the immediate deployment of all necessary measures to assist those wounded and enforce security,” a source at the presidential palace informed Cameroon-Info.net on phone.

Midjiyawa Bakary, the Governor of the far North region also convened his staff and officials in charge of the security of the region. The boss of the only Cameroonian region which for almost two years is undergoing the alleged terror of the Islamist terrorist group Boko haram, might give a midday press conference.

Also, the new Minister delegate at the Presidency in charge of defence, Joseph Beti Assomo, records his first terrorist acts since his appointment nine days ago.

This is the eleventh suicide bombing Cameroon has suffered since it was involved in the war against Boko Haram. Meanwhile, the Islamist sect from Nigerian has never claimed responsibility for the attacks. This places doubts in the minds of the public about the real perpetrators of these fatal attacks.
