Paul Biya reacts after the double attack in Maroua

Less than three hours after the double suicide attack on Wednesday, around 2 p.m. in Maroua, chief town of the region of the far North, Paul Biya responded by condemning the acts posed by the terrorists.

The president of the Republic retorted through a release made public by Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, Minister and Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic.

He announced an official death toll of 13 and 32 injured. He extended his condolences to the families of the victims. The chief commander of the army reassured the people of Cameroon that serious measures are taken to evacuate the insurgents out of the country.
