'Paul Biya ordered the dismissal of Volker Finke'

Information going round has it that President Paul Biya was responsible for the dismissal of Volker Finke.

Bihina Aimé Robert, a journalist at the Cameroon Public Television (CRTV), revealed on his Sunday night show “Press Scenes” that Mr Biya was deeply concerned after the "hammering" of the Indomitable lions by Super Eagles of Nigeria.

At an early display of November 1, 2015, edition, he stated that "it was the head of state who ordered the dismissal of former national football coach Volker Finke, of German nationality."

Other reports said, at the council of Ministers meeting on Thursday, October 15, 2015, the president of the Republic, Paul Biya, seemed worried at the defeat of the lions by longtime football rival Nigeria.

President Biya’s mood on this subject matter was relayed in the decision of the Minister of Sports and President of the Cameroon Football Federation to dismiss Volker Finke, according to Aimé Robert Bihina.
