Paul Biya "escapes" the front of the far North

Nearly two weeks after his return for another 'short stay' in Cameroon, the head of the armed forces, president of the Republic who declared war to the enemy on the steps of the Elysée, has not decided to go to the front where troops are waiting for an extra motivation.

Well before his departure for the West where he spent long weeks of absence from Cameroon, the head of State Paul Biya, president of the Republic, head of the armed forces, was expected in Maroua, chief town of the region of the far North.

Senior officers of the army, some dinosaurs and chiefs of his political apparatus, said with great emphasis, that at the level of preparation, everything was fastened; that the coming of the Commander of the armies in Maroua, was more than a matter of hours.

"The city has done its cleaning; people as well as the security forces, administrative and traditional authorities were assembled. Several missions of discovery and inspection of places already came, signs which demonstrate clearly that the President of the Republic on his way" according to a member of the elite of the region.

After several days and weeks, the Head of State, Paul Biya, has still not made any visit to the North. Since the presidential election of October 2011, two disasters of equal intensities, hit and even blasted the people of the far North, without him expressing any feeling of sympathy for the region.

There were floods in 2012. Half of the region had their feet in the water; damages and huge losses. Two years after this natural disaster, the far North is again rocked by the invisible enemy popularly known as "Boko Haram".

The region is under fear and a priceless fright. Shots, demobilization and dispersal of populations, uncertainty, and the region is in a really bad atmosphere. At this moment, many still in waiting for the arrival of Paul Biya.
