Paul Biya dismisses and replaces police Commissioners

Paul Biya has dismissed and replaced some police Commissioners within the Central and external services of the General Delegation for national security.

To this effect, he signed decrees on Monday, September 21, 2015.

According to the Decree, those replaced were he central command of GMI, the Directorate of public security, the special operation group under the defense, and the regional Delegations of Adamawa, Far North and East.

The rest were the Commander-in-Chief of police, the Commissioner of Public Safety of the 20th district of Yaoundé, the Commissioner of Public Safety of Kye Ossi in the region of the South, the head of border crossing of Kye Ossi, Central Commissioner number 3 of Douala, the head of border post of Kenzou in the East Region and the head of regional service in southwestern control unit.

In the register of sanctions, the president of the Republic has been more severe with the head of the regional division of the Northwest judicial police. The latter has entirely been dismissed from the police corps.
