Paul Biya appoints new brigadier generals in the army

Paul Biya, through a decree, has appointed five Colonels to the rank of Brigadier Generals on Thursday afternoon.

They are; Valère Nka, who was defense colonel of the Cameroon High Commission in Nigeria; Simon Ezo'o Mvondo , previously the commander of the 1st motorized infantry brigade whose command post was in Ebolowa in the South Region; Jacob Kodji , commander of the 4th joint Military Region in Maroua in the Far North of the country ; Djonkep , commander of the 3rd Joint Military Region at Garoua ( North) and Bouba Dobekreo , General Coordinator of rapid response battalions.

A second decree by the President of the Republic appoints officials to the Ministry of Defence.
