German and Senegalese diplomats who have just ended their stay in Cameroon and the new head of Tunisian diplomatic mission were received Monday in Yaounde.

12-month parliamentary cooperation between Cameroon and the Federal Republic of Germany was noted in the important high-level meeting. In June 2014, for example, the vice-president of the German Parliament (Bundestag), Johannes Singhammer, made a visit to Cameroon. These memories were thus mentioned and revisited by Cavaye Yeguie Djibril and Dr. Klaus - Ludwig Keferstein, Ambassador of Germany who came to bid farewell to the president of the National Assembly.

Appointed to Cameroon in 2012, the German diplomat said he had "a very good impression of the relations between the two countries." On the other hand, there is belief that this link between Cameroon and his country will further consolidate for the sake of the two countries.

"We have a major Cameroon community in Germany, same as we find Germans in Cameroon. It is therefore important for the two countries to have very good relations", said the German diplomat.

"Our two countries have common traits in history. They are also engaged in major projects for the development of Africa. We will always continue to work to accelerate this cooperation", said the Senegalese diplomat.

For his part, the new Tunisian Ambassador made a courtesy visit to the PAN. H.E. Jalel Snoussi, at the end of the hearing, and while referring to the cooperation between Tunisia and Cameron underlined his determination to strengthen this relationship.
