Omer Faruk Dogan ends his mission in Cameroon

President Paul Biya received the Ambassador of Turkey, Omer Faruk Dogan, who has ended his stay in Cameroon.

This ceremonial ritual, a suitable opportunity to present the state of bilateral cooperation, did not deviate from the rule yesterday.

According to the Turkish diplomat trade between the two countries has intensified, bilateral cooperation is changing significantly.

During his three-year period, Omer Faruk Dogan aligned evidence: the opening of the national airspace at the Turkish national company with consequent declining costs of transportation on some lines, a drop that was also recorded in some building materials, with thanks to imports from Turkey.

"Bilateral projects are ongoing. The most important fact remains the State visit of the Cameroonian presidential couple in Turkey, in May 2013. This official residence of the head of state in Turkey, was a return of lift, after the visit in 2010 in Cameroon from the former head of Turkish State, Abdullah Gül."

Proud of this fact, the Ambassador reaffirmed the good intentions of his country to assist Cameroon to attain emergence in 2035. And long before that, in putting in place infrastructure, from the perspective of the Africa Nations Cup (AFCON) both female and male in 2016 and 2019. As concerning terrorism, this country is also facing, Omar Faruk Dogan ensured solidarity and assistance from his country to Cameroon.

The Turkish diplomat also expressed gratitude to the people of Cameroon for their hospitality. He revealed that during his stay, he visited all regions of Cameroon. He admired this mosaic of landscapes, peoples and cultures that form Cameroon. He also made many friends and kept memories. Reasons and many others which made him reveal that he goes away, leaving his heart in Cameroon.

The exchange, dense and full of cordiality and mutual attention, ended with exchanges of gifts.
