The Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSC) and the British Olympic Association (BOA), respectively represented by their presidents, Colonel Hamad Kalkaba Malboum and Lord Sebastian Coe, signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen their links.

This partnership signed yesterday at the headquarters of CNOSC between the two National Olympic Committees opens among other things, the exchange of information and cooperation in areas of mutual interest in relation to the Olympic and international sports movement; the development of exchanges between the two parties and between national sports federations of the two countries, the image of official exchanges, trainers, experts, etc. for their participation in seminars, training, advice...

The two Committees finally agreed to share information on best practices in sports administration. "This is to formalize relations that already exist between our two national Olympic committees," said Hamad Kalkaba Malboum. For this, the CNOSC faces great challenges which could through this union leverage the extensive experience of the UK in terms of the Olympic movement management.

For his part, Lord Sebastian Coe felt pleased with his visit to CNOSC. The president of the British Olympic Association, promising to work for the development of the Cameroonian Olympic movement also supported the construction project of the Olympic city of CNOSC, a project to equip Cameroonian athletes with a high-level training center for preparation for international competitions.

Lord Sebastian Coe is also vice president of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) since 2007. He recently announced his candidacy for the presidency of the proceeding in the next elections.
