Various faces of pollution were laid bare October 3, 2015 in the economic capital of Cameroon during the 2nd edition of the "Nuit Blanche". Other avenues explored during the event organized by the French Institute of Cameroon in Douala were advocacy for better behavior and new energy source.

The event was held on three sites: Ifc, Doual'art, Mam gallery. The artists interacted with the inhabitants of Douala on the theme: the preservation of the environment. It was held through shows, performances, exhibitions and installations with music, theater, dance, visual arts.

This "Nuit Blanche" was part of the general agenda of the UN Conference on Climate Change, COP 21, held in Paris in November. For Frederick Djomga, director and set designer, with the installation titled "Drains congested", his issue was the problem of the management of plastic bottles. What should we do? asked the artist and with felt pen and blank sheets ready, he asked patrons to write their suggestions on resolving this thorny issue.

The purpose of the exercise was to understand the sense of individual responsibility and not to just wait for the action of the State.

Agathe Djokam offered a dance show on the large urban trash, the uncivil acts and the devastating consequences of pollution. At Doual'art space, all artistic interventions centered on the theme "Lumina Utopia".

Among all these aesthetic expressions, we noted the installation of artist Salifou Lindou which highlighted the solar option. While at Mam gallery, the young singer Adango Salicia was there to show benefits that could be derived amid the works of more than a dozen artists, gathered for the "recurrent Cameroonian" exhibition.
