While invoking mitigating circumstances, Barrister Gaëtan Batindy, Counsel for Ngongang Yves Marie pleaded mitigating circumstances for Ngongang Yves Marie and prayed that he be given minimum sentence as opposed to the maximum sentence requested by the Legal Department.
