New DG for Yaoundé University Teaching Hospital

A presidential decree signed on 28th September 2015 has designated Professor Arthur Georges Alfred Essomba as the new Director General of the Yaoundé Teaching Hospital CUSS.

Shortly after his appointment, Professor Arthur Georges expressed gratitude to the Head of State while promising to ensure a more improved health care quality services in the hospital.

One of the ways of realizing this vision according to the new Director General is to make available the medical and social facilities to his patients whom he ruminates as “kings.”

Before the appointment, Professor Esoomba was the Director of Healthcare Organization and Health Technology at the Ministry of Public Health in 2008.

He also served as chief of General and Digestive Surgery at the Yaounde Central Hospital.
He replaces Professor Maurice Nkam.
