In reaction to the multiple accusations linking him and Stanley Enow to the murder of the young student Tatiana Gaëlle Meye Medjo, Dynastie Le Tigre has responded via social media.

According to journalist Serge Aimé Bikoï, the two artistes have been questioned by police about the tragedy. "The artiste behind the hit song 'Ma Femme' was arrested yesterday afternoon and released late at night by police officers," he wrote on June 25, on his Facebook page.

As a reaction to these accusations, Dynastie Le Tigre posted a message on his Facebook page denying being arrested by the police.

"Dear friends,

It is with great regret and bitterness that I have, as much as you, heard of the death of my childhood friend and classmate Nicky. An active member of my group "Dynasty Family", I salute the memory of this beautiful young Cameroonian who has demonstrated exemplary behaviour.

The circumstances of her sudden death still remains a mystery, but we trust the police of our country to clarify this matter. Nevertheless, we know she was murdered just hours after a meeting of our group of friends, on her way back home, a few meters from her house. Investigations are ongoing and those responsible will soon be unveiled.

Moreover, I was deeply shocked by this despicable act much as I was surprised of this wave of libel about me on social networks. Many took advantage of the solemn period for me and my group to spread false information. I call on those disseminating false information to desist from it because it could lead to prosecution. I also want to reassure you that neither I nor any member of my group has been arrested, much less worried.

With my enlightenment and morality, I also take this opportunity to advise my brothers and sisters to pay attention and be especially careful when talking with strangers in online groups or WhatsApp. Avoid staying out late when you are alone and be careful.

Finally, I ask you to join with the family and my group to pray for the soul of Nicky."
