Moukoko Mbonjo did not suffer from stroke - Aids

The close aids of Minrex deny the information conveyed by some of the press.

According to the information published in some newspapers yesterday and relayed by social media, the Minister of External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo suffered a stroke (AVC), which landed him at the General Hospital of Yaounde.

Some have even pushed the situation further by saying he is "between life and death." Further information from close sources to Minrex say it is not true.

The former Communication Minister was indeed admitted in a hospital in the political capital of Cameroon, but only for reasons of "fatigue".

Relatives of the minister, with whom Mutations extensively spoke to yesterday, insisted that the minister is "a human being like all others who may feel exhausted."

"It is indecent that this gives rise to a media campaign of sabotage. That people take the opportunity to say, without any evidence, that the minister manages all budget lines of the Ministry which he is responsible and that this ministry will be paralyzed because he is sick," said one member of the entourage of Peter Moukoko Mbonjo.

Born July 25, 1954 at Bonaberi (Douala), Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo Nkam is originally from the department. Doctor of political science at State University of Paris I Sorbonne and graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, he taught at the Iric since the 1980s.

From 31 July 1991, he served as special advisor in the Prime Minister's office. Then on 21 October 1993, he was appointed technical advisor No. 2 to the Ministry of Higher Education.

From 19 September 1996 to 8 December 2004, he was Director of the Premier's Office. December 8, 2004 to 2007 he was Minister of Communication. After a slump, he was appointed December 9, 2011 to head the Department of External Relations.
