This is especially with the CBO who, on its part, is taking steps to make sure there is serenity in all ten regions of the country during the examinations.

At the launch of this examination session in Yaoundé, Zechariah Mbatsogo, Director of the CBO stated that "the security situation in the Far North and East will not prevent the examinations from being held in a serene atmosphere. The authorities have taken the full measures and arrangements were made for a successful review session ".

The examination sub-centers that posed security threats have been exempted. Applicants from Fotokol and Kolofata High Schools will write at Makary and Mora Secondary Schools.

Also for security reasons, examinations end at 16h for general secondary education while for technical and vocational secondary education ends at 16h 30minites as compared to 17 h or 18 h 30 min closing time in previous years.

After the written phase, the CBO will announce the results at the end of June.
