Minepded get 23 new officials

Twenty-three, 23 officials of the Ministry of environment, nature Protection and sustainable development (Minepded) were installed in their new duties at a ceremony on Monday in Yaounde.

Those appointed include the Deputy Director of Promotion and the restoration of the nature, the Assistant Director of budget, hardware and maintenance and the posts of Chiefs of service, inspectors of environment and design engineers. The 23 were appointed in Central and decentralized Departmental services.

During the installation, the Minister Pierre Hele said, "this redeployment of staff fits into a logic of strengthening effectiveness in the continuity of the public service, by the efficient implementation of the roadmap of the Ministry."

Recalling the context of these different appointments, Minepded said, "it came essentially to confirm a few interim managers at their posts, to replace those who have reached the retirement age limit. It came also to fill two vacancies and promote others for their good work. For Minepded, this appointment should be seen as an invitation towards more enthusiasm and commitment to work and a permanent quest for excellent performance.
