Michaelle Jean awarded doctor honoris causa

Michaëlle Jean Secretary general of OIF was awarded doctor honoris causa (An honorary degree) by the University of Yaoundé I on Wednesday, April 15, in the field of languages and comparative literature.

The ceremony of the doctor honoris causa at the University of Yaoundé I was held in the legendary Amphitheater 700, on the Ngoa-Ekelle campus.

A meeting was organized at the request of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, letters, social sciences and Humanities (Falsh), an institution that benefits from the financial support of the OIF for research in the sociolinguistics and comparative literature.
