Mbia sends condolences to Maroua victims

The captain of the indomitable Lions, Stéphane Mbia, has expressed his support to the Government of Cameroon in the fight against terrorism after a recent suicide bombing caused at least 19 deaths on Saturday in Maroua.

Cameroon is mourning this Saturday after a suicide bombing which left at least 19 people dead and 62 wounded on Saturday in a bar in Maroua, in the North of Cameroon. A new drama that did not leave Stéphane Mbia, Captain of the indomitable Lions, indifferent:

"We were all really very saddened to learn of the tragic attacks by Boko Haram in Maroua," commented the new player of Trabzonspor in a press release.

"Therefore, as captain, and on behalf of the entire team of Cameroon, we want to address our support to our Government in its fight against terrorism and its willingness to continue the efforts of peacekeeping at the time that the Cameroonian people are going through this painful period. Our country will rise again. We particularly extend our prayers and our solidarity to families affected by these acts of unbearable terror."
