Mbede accuses Eto’o of wanting to 'block' him in Europe

In a message posted on his Facebook account Wednesday, December 17, 2014, Cameroonian journalist, political refugee in Italy since 2007 said he "loosely fought' the former captain of the indomitable lions on the recommendation of his political enemies in Cameroon.

"I want to state before publicly the year ends, why I am angry with Samuel Eto'o, this brother that I loved so much, defended and revered." Jean Claude Mbede has visibly not digested the refusal of the former captain of the indomitable lions to make peace with him, on September 1, while both were invited to the Vatican by the Pope Francis.

"I asked him to clarify the things between us, and, if possible, to make peace because we were in the House of God. He displayed arrogance as usual, before his wife who had however insisted that he talk to me and make peace. Samuel left through a secondary door leaving me with Georgette," recounted the Cameroonian.

Cameroonian journalist who is said to have been a loyal contact of the former Barcelona player accused him of wanting to use his fame to try to block him in Europe, "on the recommendation of political enemies that I have in Cameroon."

He said. "He even rejected some young players in the national team under the pretext that they were friends with me." He noted. He also criticized him of having destroyed the indomitable lions, "the largest Cameroonian heritage"; of publishing the photos of Nathalie Nkoa, his ex girlfriend naked on the internet; of wanting to "bring down Paul Biya, by this inappropriate claim of premiums prior to the World Cup and especially the way that he has humiliated a Prime Minister and an entire Nation because he was manipulated by politicians lurking in the shadows", according to his own words.

"I decided to tell the truth before the end of the year, to call Samuel publicly to stop fighting me on behalf of politics he does not master.

"Because the politicians using him want to kill me for having refused to be used as him. Samuel should know he has bet on a bad horse, putting himself on the side of those who want to bring down Paul Biya.". Indicated the former correspondent for Vatican Radio.
