Marché de la Gare demolished by fire

Marché de la Gare one of the main markets at New Bell, Douala, was in flames on at 7pm on Friday October 3, 2014 due to a power pole which was on fire.

The fire ravaged dozens of shops at the market. The flames were however put under control by members of the fire brigade. Also, the mobile intervention police group installed a safety cord to the area.

Marché de la Gare located at a stone's throw from the Central market is the largest commercial market in the city of Douala.
