Man slammed with FCFA 220,000 fine for bestiality

A man whose name The Post gave as Mr. Sunday, has been fined FCFA 220,000 as bride price for a goat he was caught pants-down with in Laduma, a locality in the outskirts of Malende, Kumba, Southwest Region.

On September 18, this man was caught having sex with the goat belonging to one Musa, another Laduma inhabitant.

Musa is reported to have requested Sunday to pay the FCFA 220,000 as bride price as a sign of legalising the love he has for his goat.

Eyewitness accounts state that, he unsuccessfully, attempted to bribe the angry crowd with FCFA 10,000 and a crate of beer so that they would not report the matter to the police.

At the police station, he is said to have confessed that it was a native doctor who advised him to commit the unholy act as a way of preventing money from being worthless to him whenever he has it.

However, the native doctor is said to have denied the explanations by Sunday, but admitted that he only knew him as a friend.

In the meantime, Sunday is still languishing at the Laduma police post, pending further investigations.
