Man caught with ape skulls

The wildlife in the Littoral Region have caught a 42-year old man in possession of a gorilla and 2 chimpanzee skulls in Pouma, in the Sananga-Maritime Division of the Littoral Region.

The suspected poacher who operates a commercial bike ride in Pouma was tracked by a team of wild life law enforcement officials for some time. The officials had been tipped that the suspect regularly go to Sibongo, 20 km from Pouma and returns with suspected packages on his bike.

The Divisional Delegation for Forestry and Wildlife, Sanaga Maritime Division stated that suspect has confirmed that he has been involved in the business with a yet to be indentified poacher.
