Major General Martin Tumenta is no more

News reaching alafnet this morning says 61 years old Major General Martin Tumenta is dead.Reports had sighted the poor health of one of the Biggest names in the  Cameroonian Army.His disappearance from frontline  duties also did not go unnoticed,as he had been in the US receiving treatment.

Born in 1954, Major General Tumenta,who died in the early hours of yesterday morning is married. Alafnet.com is Deeply sad to announce his death which is a big lose to the Anglophone community, North westerners ,and the people of Babungo in Ngoketunjia Division  North West region especially his immediate family.

Major General Tumenta Was the Force Commander of MISCA in The Central African Republic,He commenced his appointment to head MINUSCA  and MISCA in mid-September 2014,  at the time of the transfer of authority between the African-led International Support Mission in the Central African Republic (MISCA) and MINUSCA,following a distinguished career in the Cameroonian Armed Forces

Airborne Infantry, which included tenures as Chief of Operations at the Army Headquarters, Commander of the third Joint Task Force Region and Commander of Operations DELTA in the Bakassi peninsula.  He also held the appointment of Human Resources Director at the Department of Defence.
