Madam Foning’s family opens accounts for funeral donations

The eldest son of the late Mayor of Douala 5th Salomon Tsobgny revealed that only his organizing Committee is authorized to collect donations for his mother’s funeral.

Those who wish to help the Organizing Committee for the funeral of Françoise Foning know what to do as concerns the financial contributions. They can deposit their money in two bank accounts Afriland First Bank (No. 10005 00017 04477601001 33) and Express Union (No. 17K 2613993701).

The family of the deceased Mayor of Douala 5th announced this on February 26, 2015, during a press conference held in Douala.

The executive president of the Organizing Committee Salomon Tsobgny explained that it is "to the insistent request of the friends and acquaintances" that accounts were opened to collect donations.

The release in connection with this action he published mentions that only the Committee which he heads was allowed to open the above-mentioned accounts.

He had said that it wanted to discourage a parallel initiative. The funeral of Françoise Foning will take place for one week, from 14th to 21st March 2015.
