Some reporters from the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) met with Minister Jacques Fame Ndongo on Monday 14th September 2015 to get clarifications in regards to the rumour.

During the interview, the Minister explained that the information circulating was misleading and false. He stated that graduates of the six higher teachers' training colleges in the country will continue to benefit from direct recruitment into the Public Service at the end of their studies.

Minister Jacques Fame Ndongo mentioned that unlike in the medical field where those to be recruited must pass a national exam, those from the teachers' training colleges will be recruited directly as has been the case in the past.

The rumours came from the omission of a certain article on the communique launching the entrance exams into the institutions.

The Minister’s clarification seems to have rekindled the hopes and aspirations of those who have written or plan to write the entrance examination into the six teacher training colleges in Yaounde, Maroua, Douala, Bambili and Kumba.
