Lydienne Eyoum refuses to meet Laurent Esso, Swiss VP

Lydienne Eyoum refused to meet Simoneta Sommaruga, Swiss Vice-President, during her Sunday visit to the prison in Yaoundé.

The Vice-President of the Confederation of Switzerland, Simoneta Sommaruga, driven by Vice-President of the Confederation of Switzerland, Simoneta Sommaruga made a stopover Sunday at the Yaoundé Central prison.

The Switzerland leader was particularly interested in a women neighborhood situated opposite the prison infirmary. From prison sources, Simoneta Sommaruga asks to meet Lydienne Eyoum. A prison guard informed the lawyer but she replied that she was not informed of such a visit.

After standing at the gate to her prison cell without her showing up, a prison steward again informed her that Swiss Vice-President wished to meet her but she did not move from her cell. According sources close to Lydienne Eyoum, she knew nothing of the visit. This scene comes two days after the conviction of Lydienne Eyoum to 25 years in prison.
