Lydienne Eyoum case: Lawyers demand her release

At the hearings on Thursday concerning the case involving Lydienne Eyoum, and Polycarpe Abah Abah, it was indicated that Lydienne Eyoum was simply executing the instructions given her and did not deserve to be prosecuted.

All the parties involved, the former Minister of the Finances, Polycarpe Abah Abah, Me Lydienne Eyoum, Henri Engoulou and others had been found guilty for the embezzlement of more than one billion FCFA at the last hearing by the public Ministry and the civil party.

Facing collegiality led by Yap Abdou, the defence lawyers for the accused on Thursday went straight to the point to demonstrate the innocence of their clients. On the starting line, counsel for Me Lydienne Eyoum who was a Counsel of the State of Cameroon in the case between the country and the ex - Société Générale des banks du Cameroun (SGBC).
