30 locally elected Franco-Cameroonian representatives responded to an appeal by H.E. Lejeune Mbella Mbella, Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Cameroon in France yesterday, June 13, 2015 as part of his overall assessment.

This was another huge meeting which took place after the one with the network of women mayors of Cameroon, passing through Paris, a few months ago.

From the four corners of France and visibly moved by this meeting, locally elected Franco-Cameroonian representatives appreciated the initiative and reiterated their commitment to their country of origin, Cameroon, before a guest who came from Cameroon, Ms. Meka, Mayor of Akom II, a small town in South Cameroon.

The topic on decentralized cooperation to "identify overall ways and means to make it effective" was repeatedly raised during the exchange.

Franco-Cameroonian Local elected representatives were engaged very actively and very advanced in this area, not without regretting the great absence of Cameroon at international meetings on decentralised cooperation, as opposed to the West African countries.

At the end of the meeting, the 1st Adviser to the ambassador of Cameroon, Victor Tchatchouwo and several local Franco-Cameroonian officials spoke to our reporter Laure Tsitsol.

At the moment, "we have diagnosed the problem, we will now explore solutions," confessed the ambassador of Cameroon before leaving.
