The lifeless body of Talla François Xavier was discovered between the 2nd and 3rd hut on Mount Cameroon in the town of Buea, South West region and brought back to the foot of the mountain. The body was first of all deposited in front of the BICEC building in the city.

For now, the circumstances and the cause of his death are unknown. According to the daily Cameroon Tribune that reported this incident in its Friday, August 7, 2015 edition, the body of the individual was lying face down.

According to sources contacted by the bilingual newspaper in the Bokwaongo village, the man wore white clothes and a cap the 'Dina Bell style'.

Alerted, the Mayor of Buea, security forces, and a doctor came to inquire about the situation. After the findings, the body of Talla Xavier was deposited at Buea regional hospital mortuary.

According to eyewitnesses, people questioned the presence of the individual at this time of the year on the mountain, where the climatic conditions are very harsh.

On social networks, the Mayor of Buea published photos of the objects found with the corpse. There was among other things an identity card, which permitted the identification of the individual, clothing, shoes and a phone.

An investigation was opened to determine the exact cause of death.
