Late General Hamadicko's body arrives in Cmr for burial

His corpse arrived Cameroon from France yesterday, August 07.

Late Brigadier General Hamadou Hamadicko, Director General of the International School for Security Forces (EIFORCES), has begun his journey to the world beyond.

His corpse was flown into the country from Paris, France yesterday, August 7.

The body was removed from the Val de Grâce Military Hospital in Paris, France on August 6, 2014 in a ceremony witnessed by Cameroon’s Ambassador to France, Le Jeune Mbella Mbella, Defence Attaché, Colonel Theophille Mengue Menyong and a host of family members.

The 64-year-old General Hamadicko passed on last July 30 in Paris after a protracted illness.

He began his career in 1969 by getting admission into the Cameroon Military Academy (EMIA), Yaounde.

Upon graduation in 1972, the Gendarme Officer took high command courses in peacekeeping, public security and International Relations. These earned him promotion and on March 11, 2011, a Presidential Decree appointed him as the Director General of EIFORCES.

The same decree raised him to a Brigadier General. Before his appointment, he was Defence Attaché in Cameroon’s Embassy in Morocco with the rank of colonel.
