Speaking of organization, the LFPC Awards ceremony had poor publicity. The event was communicated well. At a ceremony which such grandiose, many media houses were not invited.

However, through a season full of success despite adversity, Coton Sport de Garoua retained its championship.

“We were shoulder to shoulder with Union de Douala. The suspense lasted until the end. Fortunately, we stayed champions,” said the president of Coton Sport, Gabriel Mbairobe.

Like last year, the five best teams in Ligue 1 were awarded. "It's an honor to be rewarded and to keep up with the consistency because the in the previous season, we were also fifth," said Aimé Léon Zang, President of Apejes Mfou.
